Product Overview

The patented HAWK STAR PET PROTECTION VEST holds TWO United States Patents.

It protects your pet based on the science of bird vision. The reflective material of The Hawk Star confuses & startles birds of prey and, in essence, makes the small pet invisible to the bird. A bird's instinct is survival. The Hawk Star reflection and refraction is not familiar to the environment. Because of this it is not safe to attack and risk harm to the bird.

Because most birds of prey grab their prey by the head during an attack, it is vital to avoid the attack in the first place.  The light reflected from its holographic surface is menacing to most pest birds. The bird of prey will not see your pet as prey. The iridescent material shimmers and shines in light, disorienting and confusing birds of prey.

**Many owls hunt at night/dusk/dawn.  It is VITAL to turn the light to 'flashing' when out during these conditions**

Because of this super-reflective property, pets SHINE in headlights & sunshine, making a bright, reflective surface for DRIVERS TO EASILY SEE AND AVOID HITTING PETS DURING DAY AND NIGHT HOURS

~The HAWK STAR is machine washable. However, we recommend hand washing for the longest life. Washing Machine Instructions: Remove attached light. Place vest in lingerie bag or pillow case and wash in cold water with gentle detergent (no bleach). Lay flat or line dry. Do not dry in dryer.~

    My toy yorkie got her first Hawk Star 4 years ago and won’t go outside without it - so it was time for a new one. The newest one is of even better quality and more sparkly and is comfortable for her. Although I watch her in the yard, this has given me so much peace of mind. Thank you!

    I am so happy with these vest. I got them for my two Yorkies who are each 10 pounds there are quite a few predatory birds in our area, including large, owls, and hawks. I could never relax and now I can relax in the yard with the dogs and we’re all happy and relaxed. It’s awesome and I’ve recommended it to my friends already.

    There are so many good things to say here! My 4lb Chihuahua looks adorable in his hawk vest. He looks adorable anyway. I feel better about him playing in the backyard now. We often have hawks flying overhead. I no longer worry about it. He doesn’t mind wearing it. It’s lightweight and comfy. I LOVE the customer service experience I’ve had with Pawsitiveinnovations. I highly recommend this hawk vest for anyone with a small dog. Peace of mind!

    Olive is my Beautiful Black Chihuahua and I can tell she Loves her HawkStar protective Vest. Her attitude outside is one of pure confidence as she runs in the field. This vest has changed her attitude and gives a sense of Security wearing her New HawkStar Vest outside.

    I have used another product but this is the best. It is more comfortable for my pet and I understand why it will product her better than the other one. I feel confident when she goes out the door now that she is wearing the vest. Thank you for a wonderful product.

    I live in a wooded area and can't always watch my dog- she's a small senior dog, and has to go out constantly due to incontenince. She uses a doggy door to go in our fenced yard when I'm working. I got this vest to keep on her when I can't be around to add protection. No hawks have "tested" the vest, and I hope they never do. I don't know if the theory that shiny objects scare them away is true, but I hope to never find out. Overall, the sizing was accurate for my dog and she can wear it comfortably all day. It does, however, always "lean" to one side instead of staying straight on her - she's skinny and tiny but has a long body, so I think a second belly velcro strap would help keep the vest in place better. I'm happy with my purchase and it seems to be perfect for my dog's needs.

    Absolutely LOVE the HawkStar vest! My 7lb Min-Pin/Chihuahua can now got in the backyard again without being on leash! Took him a day to get used to it, but now he jumps on the chair waiting for me to put it on. I am always in the yard with him but can breath much easier when he’s clear across the yard, knowing his vest deters birds of prey. And he looks like a super hero by day and lightning bug by night (LOVE the strobe LED light). And customer service is sooooo amazing! Thank you Adette!
